Hi, I am Dr. Michael Blen, or Dr. B, a proud Memphian dedicated to providing quality pediatric dental care in a safe, nurturing environment. My mission is to help children develop healthy smiles and positive dental habits for life, treating every patient as the unique individual they are.
After graduating from Memphis University School, I attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earning a BS in Sociology with a focus on pre-dental sciences. I returned home to complete dental school at the University of Tennessee, where I discovered my passion for pediatric dentistry. With my parents’ encouragement, I pursued a two-year pediatric dental residency at the University of Texas Houston Health Science Center.
After gaining invaluable experience in a large group practice, I realized my dream of creating a boutique-style pediatric dental office. In 2005, I opened my practice in East Memphis at the corner of Poplar and Massey. My focus has always been on providing personalized care and building lasting relationships with patients and families.
Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with my wife, a talented esthetician and business owner, and our two amazing children. I’m an avid sports enthusiast, currently focused on tennis, but my interests have ranged from running and triathlons to basketball and golf.
I’m grateful for the support of my family, my dedicated team, and the Memphis community as I continue to evolve and improve my practice.
